A while ago , I came back home in a damn summer morning. I was feeling very thirsty that time but to my bad luck, I didn’t found single bottle of water in my 320 ltr fridge. I was just frustrated of, whats the use of that power consuming machine.
iFacts :
1) In an avg middle class home 80% use of Refrigerator is just cooling water in summers.
2) The water cooling facility is just 10% of what it provides. What a demand-supply mismatch.
3) All the major appliance designs have been copies from the west which suit their requirement, which are very diff from India which is still way behind them.
4) More than 70% of times a fridge is opened for water bottle, and every time it is opened, ur power consumption goes up.
Thoughts :
1) Why cant a company like Godrej can provide a separate section like freezer that can act like a water-cooler, automatically filling and refreshing itself each day.
2) Why there been no major design investion in last decades, only changes have been the inner tech ones, which none of ud understands.. and seems to me as a big marketing fraud.
3) Is it all not possible in just 10% of more cost (a sub-15k amt)
