Todays movie : Pranali

Movie watching seeming to to be my best timepass these days .. when u have nothing to do after coming from office at 5 and before the market opens at 11 CST. So as of my regular schedule, I searched for some new movie available (online-pirated :( bhejafry.net), n found ..'Sarkaar Raj' and a new 'Pranali'. Being in hapit of going agaist the majority..opted for Pranli today .. with my usual peg of rum and sunflower seeds.

First n foremost...I liked the name .."Pranali".. that Goolgle says means "'True to tradition'"

The movie is about a girl story whose fate brings her into the wrong hands .. n finally to the oldest business on (un)human kind. The cast was gud 7/10, but the direction .. a 4/10 :( .

The story goes ahead with her struggle to raise her voice abt legalising of prostiutution. The story reminded me of the movie 'WATER' which left me night awake..thinking abt the times and that day I felt like ..we are now much better .. but today again..I think theres much to do...before a gal can be as happy as all, when she is not considered a burden, when she can live her own life n not as per other (family ..husband ...etc)

The way the story has been said.. made me think .. is legaling such issues...prostitution,betting etc .. isn't a better way of dealing things. Atleast the scale of the problem will be known to all, atleast the people will not do them undercovers and will be governed by mafia's or better say politicians. This makes me think why government raise taxes forcibly from peoples income or other basic items: Why not raise taxes (better called legal hafta) from the activities which people are willing to pay for. I think this is all for the want of keeping a class of people at lower level ..unpoverished .. so that higher class can use their services cheaply and foreever.

m still thinking .. abt this.........all in all ..I like the movie 6/10.
